Your role is to help protect our customer's property, people, and assets by delivering high‑quality security services in line with the site's Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any updates.
You will play an important part in meeting — and ideally exceeding — the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements, contributing to a positive working environment and the long‑term success of the contract.

- Understand and follow all policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards as guided by the Security Account Manager and UK legislation.
- Carry out all tasks and responsibilities on site as outlined in the Assignment Instructions (AIs).
- Regularly review the AIs to stay up to date with any changes and feel empowered to suggest improvements that enhance service quality.
- Maintain compliance with industry and statutory requirements. A valid front‑line SIA licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision is essential and must be worn while on duty. A CCTV PSS SIA licence and additional contract‑specific training are also required.
- Follow all safety and legal obligations associated with the role.

- Follow instructions professionally and confidently.
- Complete all required competency training to a high standard.
- Take part in additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager to support your ongoing development.
- Use technology confidently to meet work objectives and continue building your knowledge and expertise.
- Ensure your SIA licence is renewed at least 16 weeks before expiry.
- Stay alert to any Health & Safety risks and report them immediately.
- Be aware of changes or potential threats in the environment and take appropriate action to reduce risk.
- Use good judgement and involve others promptly if a situation becomes challenging or unsafe.
- Maintain professionalism and calm communication, even when dealing with difficult situations or individuals.
- Record accurate and detailed notebook entries after any incident to support the reporting process.
- Follow schedules and demonstrate commitment to both Mitie and the client.
- Complete check calls within the required timeframes as outlined in the AIs.
- Contact emergency services and the Communication Centre when incidents occur.
- A valid SIA Licence
- SC Clearance (desirable)
