Welder Fabricator

Location: Lakenheath, Suffolk

Working Hours: Full-time position available, flexible hours considered.

Terra-Vac is a specialist manufacturer of high-quality paddock sweepers and suction machines, supplying customers across the agricultural, equestrian, and grounds maintenance sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Welder Fabricator to join our production team.

The Role

As a Welder Fabricator, you will be involved in the manufacture of our range of paddock sweepers and suction machines. Working from engineering drawings, you will fabricate, weld, and assemble components to a high standard, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the production process.

This position would suit an experienced Welder Fabricator, but we are also keen to hear from individuals with welding experience who are looking to develop their skills. Training and support will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

MIG welding of mild steel components and assemblies
Fabricating parts from technical drawings and specifications
Cutting, drilling, folding, and preparing materials for fabrication
Assembling machinery and equipment components
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment

Requirements

Competent MIG welding skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, or willingness to learn
Experience using fabrication tools and workshop machinery is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
