Overview
Want to come to work right on the Penzance seafront with some of the best coastal views in town? We are expanding our kitchen family at The Lugger Inn and are looking for passionate, motivated individuals to join our crew!

We have two roles available (Full-Time & Part-Time, Permanent / Seasonal)

1. PIZZA CHEF

Take pride in running our busy stone-baked pizza section. Whether you’re an experienced deck hand or just have a massive passion for food and want to learn, we are fully happy to teach you the craft of perfect dough handling and hand-stretching! You'll also get the chance to collaborate directly with our Head Chef to contribute to the menu and test out new specials.

2. COMMIS CHEF / KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Perfect for an energetic, proactive team player. You’ll work in a supportive environment building your kitchen skills from the ground up—helping with fresh ingredient prep, running the fryer/starter sections, and keeping our workspace running seamlessly during high-energy services.

What we look for:

Absolute reliability & punctuality—respecting the rota and showing up ready to smash it with the team.

What’s in it for you?

Flat, transparent rate of £13.00/hr + an equal share of staff tips.

Free fresh shift meal on any shift over 6 hours.
