Job Overview
We're looking for a surfer to join our team at the Penzance store!

We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Surf Department Supervisor

If you're passionate about surfing, enjoy working in retail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

You must be a friendly, enthusiastic person who works well with others. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles, preferably retail, a creative flair, and great attention to detail. An interest in lifestyle sports is essential.

As a Surf Shop Supervisor, you'll support the day-to-day running of the store, inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer service, and help create an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.

About You

Previous retail supervisory or team leader experience.
Passion for surfing, watersports, or outdoor lifestyle products.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and during busy seasonal periods.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

Experience in surf retail or outdoor apparel.
Knowledge of surfboards, wetsuits, accessories, and leading surf brands.
Staff discounts on surfboards, wetsuits, clothing, and accessories.
A supportive, fun, and passionate team environment.

Position details:

Permanent, full time, year-round role

Five days per week

Based in our Penzance store
