*MUST HAVE OWN CAR/VAN TO TRANSPORT THE DOGS

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dog Walker to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional care and exercise for dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-exercised. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical capability to handle active dogs during walks. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors and make a positive impact on pet owners’ lives. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for someone interested in a long-term position. Building trust with both our dogs and their owners takes time, so consistency and commitment are very important to us.

Responsibilities

Take dogs on scheduled walks, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the outing
Monitor dog behaviour during walks and respond appropriately to any issues or emergencies
Communicate effectively with pet owners after their walks with information on how the walks gone and any pictures or videos taken of their dog having fun!
Communicate any issues during the day with the management team
Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding individual dog requirements or restrictions

Qualifications

Experience with dogs or an animal care background is highly desirable
Genuine love for animals with a caring and patient demeanour
Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners
Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as managing large or energetic dogs
Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good organisational skills to manage walk schedules efficiently
Previous experience as a dog walker or in similar roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate

This role is perfect for animal lovers seeking an active position that combines outdoor work with meaningful pet care responsibilities.
