Full job description

Pyroban is a worldwide company offering explosion protection solutions for the materials handling, and oil and gas industries, we produce bespoke forklift truck conversions and oil and gas engine packages for use in hazardous areas.

We have a great opportunity for another Component Assembly Technician to join our Components Assembly Technician team, to assemble EX components such as motors, alternators, lights and battery enclosures, using the following skills and knowledge:

electrical packages
terminating wires
soldering
reading technical drawings
visual inspections
marking, measuring
drilling, tapping out
lathes & pillar work
potting and encapsulation of batteries by mixing protective materials

Experience for Components Assembly Technician

This Component Assembly Technician role would suit someone who has been accustomed to working hands on with machinery, undertaking maintenance of motors, bearings, plant rooms, pumps, being able to problem solve, repair and build.

Having a proactive and enthusiastic approach, with good attention to detail is a key skill in being successful, as well as a strong team work ethic and willingness to learn.

The salary range for the Component Assembly Technician is £,30,608.00 to £33,181.00, skill and experience will be evaluated at interview.

We work a 4.5 day week, (early finish Friday) can offer overtime, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, with the option to purchase an additional 10 days, health cash plan, 5% employer pension contribution, life assurance, employee assistance programme, cycle to work scheme, plus a range of other benefits and well being initiatives.
