Job Opportunity – Cash Hub Assistant

Largs Cash Hub

We are excited to be launching a new Cash Hub in Largs and are looking for friendly, reliable individuals to join the team.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a new service supporting the local community, providing essential banking services.

About the Role

This is a customer-focused position combining both:

Counter Clerk Duties

Handling cash transactions (deposits & withdrawals)
Supporting customers with everyday banking needs
Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and security procedures are followed

Meet & Greet Duties

Welcoming customers into the hub
Providing general assistance and ensuring a positive experience

You will be expected to carry out both aspects of the role as required.

Contract & Hours

Initial 3-month fixed-term contract (while the hub is established)
Strong potential for extension
Hours will be discussed at interview stage based on availability and hub needs

Pay

£13.00 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)

What We’re Looking For

Strong customer service skills
Confidence working with cash handling / transactions
Good communication and a friendly, approachable manner
Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
Previous banking, retail, or customer-facing experience is desirable
