About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate individual to join our Food & Beverage team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting the day-to-day operation of a luxury restaurant. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage leadership team to ensure the highest standards of service are consistently delivered. You will play a key role in leading, coaching, and motivating the restaurant team while creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

What you will do

Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained at all times.
Lead, motivate, and develop the restaurant team, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
Assist with team training, performance management, and ongoing development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company policies and procedures.
Handle guest feedback professionally and efficiently, resolving concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
Support labour and cost control measures to help achieve departmental financial goals.
Manage restaurant service periods, ensuring seamless coordination between front and back of house teams.
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence throughout the restaurant.
Support inventory management, ordering processes, and stock control where required.
Act as a role model for luxury hospitality, providing outstanding service and leadership on every shift.

What you bring

Previous supervisory or management experience within a restaurant, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment.
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining luxury service standards.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions.
A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
