Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in engaging with customers, supporting sales initiatives, and ensuring excellent service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sales, customer service, and building strong client relationships. The successful applicant will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a keen understanding of sales processes. Prior experience in B2B sales, negotiation, and driving is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
Engage with clients to promote products and services effectively, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve individual and team targets
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry trends to provide accurate information to clients
Manage appointments and follow-ups to foster long-term customer relationships
Support the organisation of promotional events or campaigns to increase brand awareness
Utilise IT systems efficiently for record-keeping, order processing, and reporting purposes
Drive company vehicles as required for client visits or promotional activities
Ensure all sales activities comply with organisational policies and standards

Qualifications

Proven communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Experience or familiarity with negotiation techniques and B2B sales environments is desirable
Good IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM systems
Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving driving responsibilities
Customer service experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
