Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are tidy, sanitary, and presentable. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional and welcoming workspace, supporting the overall efficiency and wellbeing of our staff.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect all office surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and workstations
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across various office areas
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed
Maintain cleanliness in communal areas such as kitchens, break rooms, and restrooms
Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and stored appropriately after use
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
Attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled timescales
Good organisational skills and reliability
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting light loads and standing for extended periods
A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment

Pay: £14.19 per hour
