Full job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV & Security Engineer to join our growing team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This role involves installing, maintaining, and servicing CCTV and security systems across a wide range of client sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems, including IP and analogue systems.
Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on CCTV and associated security systems.
Perform routine service visits and preventative maintenance.
Ensure all installations meet industry standards and client requirements.
Provide technical support and training to clients as required.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and system configurations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all sites.
Travel regularly across the UK with occasional overnight stays.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance (minimum 2 years preferred).
Strong understanding of CCTV systems including IP-based solutions.
Strong understanding of access control and fire solutions.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with access control, intruder alarms, or other security systems.
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. ECS/CSCS, IPAF, PASMA).
Knowledge of networking and IP configuration.

Competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 (depending on experience).
