Recreation Assistant (Wetside)

PERMANENT: Ave 37 Hours per week (on 4 week rota)
SALARY: £26,403 - £28,142 (pay award Pending)
LOCATION: Active Crediton

About the Role

As a Recreation Assistant (Wetside), you will play a vital role in ensuring customers have a safe and enjoyable experience while using our facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing lifeguard cover and maintaining the safety of all swimming pool users.
Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive experience for all visitors.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the leisure facilities.
Ensuring all health and safety procedures and operational guidelines are always followed.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience working in a customer-facing environment.
Works well as part of a team and can adapt to changing situations.
Is enthusiastic about learning and developing a career within the leisure sector.
Ideally holds a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), however training can be given.
A First Aid at Work qualification is desirable but not essential.
