About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Finance & Insurance individual to support and develop our dealership network across the Yorkshire region.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving F&I performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing dealership teams, and maximising customer outcomes across multiple franchised dealerships.
The successful candidate will work closely with Retail Managers, Sales Managers, General Managers, to deliver outstanding finance performance while maintaining the highest standards of customer care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management
- Drive F&I income, product penetration, and overall dealership profitability across the region.
- Set and agree performance targets with individual dealerships and management teams.
- Monitor dealership performance against agreed KPIs and implement action plans where required.
- Analyse management information and performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Produce regular regional performance presentations for senior leadership.
Coaching & Development
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to Business / Retail Managers and Sales Teams.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to support dealerships and improve F&I processes.
- Deliver training programmes focused on sales effectiveness, product knowledge, customer journey, and best practice.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of Business / Retail Managers where required.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all dealerships operate in accordance with current FCA regulations and company policies.
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Support dealerships in maintaining robust customer documentation and sales processes.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure the group remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.
Product & Revenue Growth
- Promote the effective sale of finance, insurance, warranty, and other value-added products.
- Work with dealership teams to maximise product penetration whilst maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Introduce and implement new F&I initiatives, products, and sales strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Regional F&I Manager will be measured against:
- F&I income per unit
- Product penetration rates
- Compliance audit scores
- Training and development outcomes
- Regional performance against targets
About you:
Essential
- Proven experience in a senior F&I, Business Manager, F&I Development Manager, or Regional F&I role within the automotive retail sector.
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations and automotive compliance requirements.
- Track record of delivering commercial growth and improving dealership performance.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Yorkshire region.
Desirable
- Experience managing multi-site dealership operations.
- Previous responsibility for compliance auditing and regulatory oversight.
- Experience working with multiple franchise brands.
- Relevant FCA or financial services qualifications.
