Event Stewards, SIA Security Officers & SIA Door Supervisors

Controlled Space Ltd is a leading provider of security and event staffing services across the UK. We are currently expanding our team and are looking for enthusiastic, professional, and reliable individuals to join us as:

Event Stewards
SIA Security Officers
SIA Door Supervisors
SIA Close Protection Operatives
SIA CCTV Operators

Pay

Up to £14.18 per hour

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Controlled Space team, you will:

Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Carry out pre-event and venue safety checks
Manage the safe and efficient flow of people entering venues and events
Monitor crowds and identify potential overcrowding or safety concerns
Provide information and assistance to members of the public
Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
Raise alarms when required and assist emergency services as appropriate
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

Be aged 18 or over
Have excellent communication and customer service skills
Have a professional and flexible approach to work
Be willing to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and at short notice when required
Have a strong command of spoken and written English
Be confident handling challenging situations while remaining calm and professional
Take pride in your appearance and personal presentation
Have the right to work in the UK
Be able to provide a full 5-year checkable employment and education history in accordance with BS7858 screening requirements
