Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Operations Centre at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for an experienced and dynamic senior nurse to join our senior leadership team. This pivotal role will play a key part in shaping and delivering the Trust’s patient flow and discharge agenda.

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking nurse leader who brings strong negotiating and influencing skills, alongside the ability to thrive within a large, complex organisation. The successful candidate will support and lead the delivery of safe, effective, and timely patient flow and discharge processes across LTHT.

Working collaboratively with internal teams and cross-city partners, you will play a critical role in facilitating safe and timely patient discharge, improving patient experience, and supporting system-wide flow.

The role includes line management responsibility for:

Clinical Site Managers
Discharge Lead Nurse
Oversight of the Discharge Lounge Facility
