Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in food preparation and culinary arts to showcase their skills and contribute to a memorable dining experience for our customers. The Pizza Chef will ensure all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety.

Duties

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and quality standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using various methods such as eletric-fired ovens or standard kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Monitor ingredient levels and communicate stock requirements to management
Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment
Serve pizzas to customers with professionalism and courtesy when required

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous experience working in a kitchen setting, preferably with experience in pizza making or culinary arts
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Passion for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
