Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Childrens Home Registered Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a children’s home residential provision. This is a vital role which involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental progress of children in care, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. As a Registered Manager, you will inspire your team, foster a nurturing environment, and implement high-quality care practices that support each child's individual needs. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a positive, stable home where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the residential children’s home, ensuring all care activities meet regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
Develop, review, and implement personalized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs, including those requiring specialized support.
Supervise and support staff members, fostering a motivated team through effective leadership, supervision, and ongoing training.
Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with legal guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of care activities, incidents, and progress reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Promote a positive environment that encourages children's development, emotional well-being, and social skills through engaging activities and consistent routines.
Collaborate with external agencies such as social services, health professionals, and educational providers to coordinate comprehensive support for children in residence.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Children’s home environment is highly desirable.
Strong background in managing care homes or similar residential settings with supervising responsibilities.
Knowledge of care plans development and medication administration procedures.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams effectively
Excellent understanding of regulatory standards related to children’s residential services and safeguarding practices.
