The Role
Belzona is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join its Research & Development (R&D) and Quality Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitable candidate to build a broad foundation in technical documentation, document control, quality systems, and cross-functional coordination within a globally recognised manufacturing business.
Reporting to the Product Manager, the successful candidate will play a central role in maintaining Belzona’s technical documentation and supporting a wide range of functions across the business, including R&D, Distributor Support Team, Regulatory, QSHE, Operations and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage technical documentation within the Belzona Electronic Library (BEL), ensuring version control, accuracy and correct cross-referencing of all product information materials.
- Administer document control processes within SharePoint and OneDrive, including managing approval workflows, controlled document publication and compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Support the preparation and distribution of technical literature, product updates, newsletters and internal communications in collaboration with the Product Manager.
- Coordinate documentation and administrative activities for new product launches, including field trial data collection and internal training sessions.
- Provide administrative support for Sage ERP data entry, including coordination of Common Data Set-Up Sheets and cross-department alignment for new product setup.
- Record and manage QSHE Assessment Reports (QSHEARs), incident and accident compliance data, and support the documentation of external quality audits.
- Support R&D, Operations and Regulatory teams with document creation, archiving, standards management and laboratory report administration.
About You
We are looking for a well-organised individual with strong written communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Relevant Background:
- Previous experience or exposure to a Quality Management System (e.g. ISO 9001) or document-controlled environment.
- Exposure to a technical, scientific, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with structured documentation such as technical datasheets, SDSs, procedures or reports.
- Experience using SharePoint, OneDrive, or similar document management systems.
Core Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling controlled or regulated information.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and consistently.
- Confident working with different teams and following up on actions and tasks.
Desirable:
- Exposure to document control processes and version control.
- Awareness of third-party approvals or regulatory standards (e.g. ISO, BSI, ABS).
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. Sage) or data management processes.
