Garden Maintenance Team Member

Location: North Leeds (Covering residential & commercial sites)

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate (Based on experience)

The Role

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for transforming and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. You’ll be working across some of the finest gardens in North Leeds, ensuring every hedge is straight and every flower bed is pristine.

Key Responsibilities:

Garden Maintenance: Mowing, professional strimming, weeding, and cultivating beds.
Horticultural Care: Precise hedge trimming, shrub pruning, and seasonal planting.
Site Management: Raking, leaf blowing, and ensuring all sites are left spotless.
Machinery: Safe operation and basic care of petrol equipment (mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers).
Client Relations: Acting as a professional face of the company, providing excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For

A Positive Attitude: Someone who brings energy to the team and can keep a smile on their face, even if it’s drizzling!
Reliability: You show up on time, every time, ready to work.
Attention to Detail: You notice the small things that make a garden go from "good" to "great."
Physical Fitness: This is a demanding role involving heavy lifting, kneeling, and repetitive tasks. You should enjoy staying active.
Initiative: The ability to see what needs doing next without being asked.

Requirements:

A basic knowledge of (or a strong desire to learn) horticultural practices.
Experience with petrol gardening machinery is a plus.
Full UK Driving License (Preferred).

Working Conditions & Benefits

Hours: Typically 07:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Occasional opportunities for extra hours during peak seasons.
