The Role

Working within a high-security, business-critical environment, you will play a key role in safeguarding the site, controlling access, monitoring security systems, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, contractors, and infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional security officers seeking a rewarding role within the critical national infrastructure and technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

Managing access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Conducting regular internal and external patrols of the site.
Monitoring CCTV, alarms, and other security systems.
Responding to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.
Maintaining accurate incident reports and site records.
Verifying identification and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
Supporting health and safety requirements across the facility.
Delivering outstanding customer service to clients and visitors.
Liaising with site management, emergency services, and operational teams when required.
Maintaining a professional and vigilant security presence at all times.

Essential Requirements

Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
Good IT literacy and confidence using computer-based systems.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience within data centres, corporate security, logistics, or critical infrastructure environments.
CCTV Licence.
Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
Experience with electronic access control systems
