Job Summary

We are seeking two dedicated Trainee and/or Qualified Dental Nurses to join our friendly dental practice as permanent or maternity cover nurses. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be involved in assisting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining clinical standards. Whether you are starting your career or an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge, this position provides valuable hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities. All roles are paid, reflecting the importance of your contribution to our team.

Responsibilities

Assisting dentists with a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth clinical operations
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations
Providing excellent patient care by offering reassurance and explaining procedures clearly
Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and ensuring confidentiality at all times
Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure their comfort and understanding
Maintaining high standards of infection control and cleanliness within the practice
Organising appointments and managing the practice schedule efficiently
Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and suppliers to facilitate seamless service delivery

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental nursing; training will be provided for trainees, but they should already have at least 6 months' experience.
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members
Organised with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Compassionate approach with a focus on patient care and well-being
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment scheduling
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £8.00-£14.50 per hour
