Experienced Gardener / Skilled Landscape Operative

Salary: From £30,000 per year
Skilled Operative: From £32,000+ depending on experience, qualifications and machinery ability.

Acorn Landscape Services is an established business specialising in the design, construction and maintenance of high-quality private gardens and country estates across Cheshire.

Our work ranges from award-winning residential gardens to large private estates, delivering everything from complete landscape construction through to year-round estate maintenance. We pride ourselves on exceptional workmanship, attention to detail and outstanding customer service.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for experienced, reliable and motivated individuals to join our team.

The Role

This is a varied position working across both our Maintenance and Landscaping divisions.

Typical duties include:

Professional garden and estate maintenance
Lawn care, hedge cutting and specialist pruning
Planting and border maintenance
Soft landscaping and landscaping projects
Operating and maintaining professional gardening equipment
Tractor, plant and machinery operation (where experienced)
Maintaining company vehicles, equipment and high standards on site
Providing excellent customer service and representing Acorn professionally

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience in horticulture or estate maintenance
Has hard landscaping experience or a good understanding of landscape construction
Takes pride in producing work to an exceptional standard
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Works well both independently and within a team
Holds a full UK driving licence
Has good communication and customer service skills

Experience operating tractors, excavators, loaders, trailers or other plant and machinery is highly desirable and will be reflected in your salary.

Relevant horticultural qualifications and machinery tickets are advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.

Experienced Gardener – From £30,000

Skilled Landscape & Estate Operative (plant, machinery and landscaping experience) – From £32,000+

Salary will reflect experience, qualifications, machinery competence and overall responsibility.
