Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled owner-driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. As an owner-operator, you will use your own van to deliver various types of loads, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate your own vehicle for the delivery of goods to various locations.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on your vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on your vehicle.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.
Must have your van (MWB/LWB).
