Role Description
The Events Assistant will be working as part of our all round team, provide a excellent service and needs stay well organised for busy events.
They are responsible for preparing equipment and utensils, loading vans, setting up and down festival equipment and serving food to the public.
Front of house assistants are the eyes and ears of the customers. They ensure all customers have been informed about our services and served correctly. They also ensure the work areas is clean and running smoothly. You should be friendly, helpful, informative, confident and good with people.
You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to keep your cool under pressure. You should also have a keen interest in our menu and the customer service. We’re looking for people that enjoy working in small teams but are also confident, independent workers.
Previous front of house experience is not essential, but Event assistants should be confident, friendly and happy to assist with any part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the personal hygiene and appearance
- Provide customers with first class customer service
- Assisting any customer with queries and information. Informing customers for allergen and dietary requirements.
- To work alongside the staff to ensure set up, service and set down is always on time
- To ensure the customer experience is tidy and inviting, particularly at busy times
- To be a friendly and helpful face of Chilli Guys
- To have a good knowledge of Chilli Guys procedures and strategies
- Staff to be able to recommend food items and describe correctly.
- Liaise with any the relevant departments across the organisation to ensure the smooth running of operations
- Act as a representative for Chilli Guys and its values.

- Experience of a customer facing role or front of house catering

2. Contract Terms
Contract Type: PAYE
Festival Dates: June - December
Place of Work Events and festivals all over East Midlands, United Kingdom
Schedule of Work: Working on a shift pattern with an average 2 day week, each shift is between 6-8 hours with a 30 minute lunch break. Evening and weekend work is essential in this role
