Due to continued growth, TMS Motor Group is offering a great opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy, successful Parts Department at their Loughborough Kia Dealership. We are looking to add to our existing team as we look to further grow the department.

To succeed in this role you will need to have a strong Parts Advisor experience in a franchised dealer – this is essential.

As Parts Advisor you must be able to work as part of a team, and also be able to work on your own initiative. You need to have a keen eye for detail, possess excellent customer facing skills, and planning/organisational skills, as you will be dealing with front-of-house customers - both trade and retail, as well as internal dealer staff from all areas of the business.

To assist you, there are systems and processes in place including a dealer management system (DMS), so you will ideally need to be IT literate and have experience of using DMS systems. As Parts Advisor you will also be receiving, sorting and storing parts as they arrive, to ensure we have the correct levels of stock and they can be easily located, thus ensuring the best possible service to our customers.

Manufacturer and in-house training will be provided for the successful applicant.

The key requirements of the Parts Advisor role are to:

Exhibit skills and knowledge relating to the job role.
Anticipate potential problems and solutions within the planning process.
Show a sense of urgency on behalf of customers and actions requests quickly.
Demonstrate a systematic approach to organisation and administration.
Provide clear and timely information to internal and external contacts.
Promote effective relationships with individuals and other departments.
Strive for excellence by paying attention to important detail.
Ensure promises are kept by following through on requests.

You must possess a full, clean UK driving license, and have held a similar position within the motoring industry. These are essential as part of the role will be delivering parts to customers where needed

Working Hours:

Between 08.00-18.00

Saturdays on a rota basis 08.00-12.30
