Grounds Maintenance Operative

The Leicestershire Landscaping Company Limited
Kibworth, Leicestershire | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Overtime

Key Requirements (Essential)

Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance
Strong practical grounds maintenance and landscaping skills
Good plant knowledge and understanding of soft landscaping
Valid CSCS Card preferred
Full UK Driving Licence preferred
Ability to work safely, efficiently, and to high standards
Positive attitude with good teamwork skills

The Leicestershire Landscaping Company Limited is an established and growing landscape construction and maintenance business based in Kibworth, Leicestershire. We specialise in creating and maintaining high-end outdoor spaces for leading UK house builders, commercial contractors, and domestic clients across the Midlands and the M1 corridor.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for hardworking and motivated Operatives to join our expanding team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance and landscaping projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive company working on prestigious landscaping developments across the region.

The Role

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will support the delivery of landscaping and maintenance works across a variety of sites. You will work as part of a team to ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out grounds maintenance operations on commercial and residential sites
Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and general site maintenance
Planting shrubs, trees, and soft landscaping in line with site plans
Supporting landscaping installations and seasonal works
Using landscaping tools and machinery safely and effectively
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation
Following health & safety procedures on-site
Working effectively as part of a team

Skills & Experience RequiredEssential

Experience within landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance
Good practical skills and strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and motivated
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Good communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail

Desirable

CSCS Card
PA1 & PA6 Certificates
Level 2 qualification in Horticulture or related discipline
Full UK Driving Licence
