Why join us?
At Nottingham Trams, we believe in We Care. We Commit. We Imagine. If you share our values and want to be part of a team that keeps Nottingham moving, we want to hear from you!

Reporting & Data‑Driven Improvement — Providing timely and accurate security reports and LRSP returns to the business, DfT and Police; analysing security data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Every day, you’ll be making a real impact—helping us deliver a reliable, respectful, and efficient tram service to the people of Nottingham.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a security role, ideally within transportation, the armed forces or a relevant safety‑critical industry, with a track record of delivering security projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience liaising with external partners and internal departments, and managing your own workload proactively.
- The ability to think strategically, embedding long‑term, effective security solutions and improving organisational security competence and awareness.
- Data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret security data, make evidence‑based decisions and identify improvements in line with the Light Rail Security Plan.
- Confidence in producing and presenting detailed reports and audits to support compliance and assurance activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, coach and collaborate at all levels.
- A customer‑focused mindset, recognising that strong security underpins an excellent passenger experience.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality, with a commitment to ethics, accountability and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- A commitment to continuous learning, keeping up to date with industry developments, best practice and emerging technologies in light rail security.
