Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Hairstylist/Barber to join our vibrant salon team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair styling and grooming services, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills within a friendly, professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about hairdressing and barbering, eager to provide exceptional service to diverse clientele.

Duties

Provide a wide range of hair styling, cutting, colouring, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice on styles and treatments
Maintain a clean, hygienic work environment by sanitising tools and workstations regularly
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalised attention
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hairdressing and barbering
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and maximise client satisfaction
Promote salon services and retail products to enhance client experience and business growth

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hairstylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Proficiency in hair styling, cutting, colouring, and grooming techniques
Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
Friendly, approachable manner with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best
Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing or barbering are preferred but not essential for experienced candidates

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive on creativity, enjoy working with people, and are committed to delivering outstanding haircare services.
