Job Summary

Cargo Secure are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Administrator to join our team. This is a varied role that combines marketing administration with elements of sales and business operations, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different areas of a business. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the sales process, streamlining operational workflows, and enhancing overall marketing efforts. Your proactive approach and excellent organisational skills will ensure smooth communication between departments, efficient management of sales data, and effective execution of marketing initiatives. This new position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the growth of our brand.

Duties

Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) software to ensure accurate and current sales records
Support sales administration tasks including order processing, invoicing, and tracking client interactions
Assist in the preparation of marketing materials using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools as well as Canva, Mailchimp etc
Coordinate with sales teams to schedule meetings, follow up on leads, and ensure timely communication with clients
Maintain organized records of marketing campaigns, customer feedback, and operational reports
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries via email or phone, ensuring positive client experiences

Qualifications

Proven experience with administrative tasks within a sales or marketing environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with CRM software and Sage accounting systems is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrated computer literacy with the ability to adapt quickly to new IT tools and systems
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
Previous experience in sales administration or customer service roles is preferred
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting
Enjoy working as part of a team
Are commercially aware and interested in how different parts of a business work together
