JOB TITLE: Actuarial Assistant Manager, Customer Solutions
HOURS: Full Time (will consider reduced hours)
SALARY: Competitive package available
LOCATION: Edinburgh
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of our time, at our Edinburgh office.

What you ’ll be doing:
As an Actuary in the Customer Solutions Lab, you'll play a key role in delivering good outcomes for customers by supporting the resolution of issues across a range of insurance and pension products. You’ll analyse data, design and run models to calculate redress and corrected policy positions, and provide expert input into customer treatment approaches. Working in an Agile project team, you’ll ensure calculations are accurate, well-controlled, and compliant with actuarial standards, while contributing to continuous improvement in how we deliver efficient, high-quality
What we ’re looking for:
- Qualified or partly-qualified Actuary.
- Strong technical ability in analysing problems, determining solutions and specifying and building calculations.
- Strong Excel modelling skills.
- Pensions and or life assurance product knowledge
- Experience working in an Agile project environment is beneficial
