Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner - Kit Erector to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing prefabricated kits on-site, ensuring precise fitting and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry, joinery, or related trades to contribute to diverse building projects. Applicants should be capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Erecting and assembling kits according to technical drawings and specifications
Using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out fabrication and assembly tasks
Performing heavy lifting and manoeuvring of materials safely around the site
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards
Assisting with site preparation, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
Collaborating closely with other tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and masons to complete projects efficiently
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment at all times

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team or independently

This role is ideal for motivated individuals with a solid background in building trades who are eager to contribute to high-quality construction projects. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, safety awareness, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Pay: £15.95-£25.94 per hour
