Full job description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a growing operation within a busy industrial environment.

The Role

Working alongside our experienced engineer, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across site, ensuring equipment reliability and operational uptime.

Key responsibilities include:

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Reactive breakdown maintenance across site
Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
Working on drives, motors, control systems and associated plant equipment
Supporting installations, repairs and continuous improvement projects
Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures
Participating in the on-call rota (currently one week in every two)

About You

The successful candidate must have:

Strong electrical bias/background
Experience in fault finding within electrical diagrams , pumps and motors
Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a plant/manufacturing/heavy industrial environment
Ability to fault find and work under pressure within an operational environment
Good attitude, reliability and strong safety awareness

Desirable:

Mechanical maintenance experience
Multi-skilled background
Experience within recycling, manufacturing, FMCG or industrial operations
