Full job description

Do you have the experience of supporting projects and are you keen to help residents in our county thrive? If you do, then you may be the perfect fit for our Adult Learning Project Officer in the Employment and Skills team at East Sussex County Council.

As Adult Learning Project Officer, you will support the coordination and development of Adult Learning programmes, ensuring they align with stakeholder needs and funding requirements. You will maintain project systems, documentation, and templates, acting as a central source of information, while identifying and managing risks in collaboration with stakeholders. The role involves acting as the main point of contact for enquiries, ensuring clear and professional communication, and contributing to stakeholder engagement and communication strategies. You will also monitor budgets, expenditure and income, alongside researching, analysing and producing reports to support evidence-based decision-making.

We are looking for candidates who:

Can plan and organise varied workloads
Communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Interpret and analyse complex data
Can monitor budgets effectively
Ability to provide effective customer service, including clear and succinct advice
