Contract Type: Self-Employed Associate
Hours: Initially 1–2 clinic days per week (flexible)
Rate: £30–£35 per hour, dependent on experience

As a growing private physiotherapy and sports therapy practice, we are looking for an experienced Senior Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient outcomes while helping shape the future of our service.
This is more than a clinical role. Alongside managing your own caseload, you will have the opportunity to contribute to service development, support clinician growth, influence patient pathways, and play an active role in building a high-performing, patient-centred clinic.

The Opportunity
This position is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys helping others succeed and wants to contribute to something bigger than their own diary.
Initially, the role will involve approximately 1–2 clinic days per week, combining hands-on patient care with dedicated time to contribute towards clinical development and service improvement initiatives.
Working closely with the Clinical Director, you will help:
- Maintain and strengthen clinical standards
- Support clinician development and mentoring
- Improve patient outcomes and treatment consistency
- Contribute to service development and innovation
- Support sustainable and responsible clinic growth
- Develop pathways that improve the patient experience
As the clinic continues to grow, there will be opportunities to increase hours, expand leadership responsibilities, and contribute more significantly to the strategic direction of the service.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
- Manage a varied musculoskeletal and rehabilitation caseload.
- Create effective treatment plans focused on measurable outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, professional clinical records.
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience throughout the care journey.
- Work collaboratively with other clinicians to support integrated patient care.
Clinical Development
- Lead by example through excellent clinical practice.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of clinical standards.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
- Assist with mentoring and supporting less experienced clinicians.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Contribute to clinical discussions, case reviews and service improvements.
Service Growth & Development
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that improve patient outcomes and clinic performance.
- Support the development of systems, processes and patient pathways.
- Help strengthen patient engagement and treatment completion.
- Contribute to future service development opportunities.
- Support the growth of a high-performing and patient-focused clinic.
Community & Movement Services
- Support the continued growth of The Den wellbeing community.
- Contribute to rehabilitation, mobility, strength, Pilates, yoga or wellbeing services where appropriate.
- Assist with workshops, educational events and movement-based programmes.
- Help create a joined-up experience between clinical care and community wellbeing services.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist.
- CSP Membership.
- Strong musculoskeletal assessment and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
- Ability to work independently within a private practice setting.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team development.
Desirable
- 5+ years post-graduate experience.
- Previous private practice experience.
- Experience mentoring, supervising or supporting junior clinicians.
- Interest in leadership and service development.
- APPI Pilates qualification.
- Qualifications in strength and conditioning, yoga, rehabilitation, exercise prescription or related disciplines.
- Experience delivering group rehabilitation or movement classes.
- Interest in community wellbeing and preventative healthcare.
