Home Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care)

Locations: Ripon, Thirsk, Boroughbridge, Knaresborough and surrounding villages

Pay: £13.50–£14.00 per hour + Paid Travel Time & Mileage

Positions Available: Full-Time | Part-Time | Live-In | Bank

We are a trusted local provider supporting individuals throughout Ripon, Thirsk, Boroughbridge, Knaresborough and the surrounding rural communities.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to join our friendly team.

Your Role

As a Home Care Assistant, you will travel between clients' homes, providing high-quality care and support that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Every day is different, but you'll play a vital role in helping people continue living in the place they love most – their own home.

Key Responsibilities

Providing personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
Supporting clients with medication in accordance with their care plans
Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition and hydration
Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
Maintaining accurate care records using our digital care system
Following safeguarding, infection prevention and health & safety procedures
Building positive, professional relationships with clients and their families

Essential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence
Access to your own vehicle (essential due to our rural service areas)
Willingness to travel between clients within the community
A caring, compassionate and reliable nature
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Right to work in the UK

Please note: We are not able to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this role.
