We are a small, friendly federation of church primary schools serving 101 pupils across two sites. Since federating in 2018, we have created a collaborative, nurturing environment where children in Early Years through to Year 6 learn and grow. About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and caring General Teaching Assistant alongside a Midday Supervisory Assistant, primarily supporting pupils in Key Stage 2. This is a vital role that offers the chance to work closely with all our Key Stage 2 children based at Middleham.

Hours: GTA 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:30 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 15:30

Hours: MSA 2.5 hours Monday to Friday 12:00 – 12:30

Contract: Fixed term until August 2027, Term Time Only

Location: Across both federation sites, primarily KS2

You will support children both in class and during lunchtime, helping to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. We value your experience and positive attitude, and we are committed to providing any training you need to succeed.

Has experience working in a school setting and a genuine understanding of child development - academically, socially, and emotionally

Believes every child can succeed and holds high expectations for learning and behaviour

Communicates effectively and works proactively both independently and as part of a team

Is committed to ongoing professional growth and willing to engage in training and development opportunities
