Store Manager – Chorley

Rhode Island Coffee is an award-winning, independent chain of coffee shops based in the North West. We’re passionate about exceptional coffee, outstanding customer service, and creating welcoming spaces at the heart of the communities we serve.

We are now seeking an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead our flagship Chorley store. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment and is passionate about operational excellence, team development, and driving commercial performance.

The Role

As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll lead from the front, inspire your team, and play a key role in driving the continued success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of store operations, including cash handling, stock control, and staff scheduling
Drive sales performance and achieve business targets while maintaining exceptional service standards
Lead, train, and motivate your team to perform at their best
Ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards
Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
Identify opportunities to grow the business and raise the store’s profile

About You

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader who is as passionate about people as they are about coffee.

You will bring:

Proven management experience within the food and drink or hospitality sector
Strong barista skills and a genuine love of great coffee
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A positive attitude, strong team spirit, and a drive to exceed expectations
A commercial mindset with attention to detail and a focus on performance
