Full job description

The Tudor of Lichfield is a long-established, family-run restaurant, café, bar and chocolatier, located within one of Lichfield's most historic buildings.

As we continue to grow and develop the business, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Front of House Supervisor & Social Media Coordinator to join our team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in leading our front of house team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the business. Alongside this, you will help showcase everything The Tudor has to offer by creating engaging social media content and promoting our food, drinks, events and seasonal offerings.

This is a varied role that would suit someone with a passion for hospitality who also enjoys being creative and helping to grow a business through social media.

The role consists primarily of daytime hours, with Friday and Saturday being our only evening service periods, offering an excellent work-life balance compared with many hospitality roles.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront of House

Supervise front of house operations during service.
Support and report directly to the General Manager.
Lead, motivate and develop the front of house team.
Deliver exceptional customer service and professionally resolve guest enquiries and concerns.
Assist with staff induction, training and ongoing development.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service are maintained.
Open and close the venue independently when required.
Support stock control and daily operational procedures.
Lead by example and create a welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.

Social Media & Marketing

Create engaging content for our social media platforms, including Instagram Facebook and TikTok
Capture high-quality photos and videos of our food, drinks, venue, retail products, events and seasonal displays.
Plan and schedule regular social media posts.
Promote seasonal menus, events, retail products and special offers.
Work with the General Manager to develop creative marketing ideas and campaigns.
Respond to social media enquiries and assist with monitoring online reviews where appropriate.
Help grow our online presence while maintaining our brand and values.

About You

You'll be passionate about hospitality, enjoy leading a team and thrive in a busy customer-focused environment.

You will have:

Previous experience in a hospitality supervisory or team leader role.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
A calm and organised approach under pressure.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Experience using Instagram, Facebook & TikTok for business purposes.
A creative eye for photography, video content and storytelling.
Confidence creating engaging content, including short-form videos and promotional posts.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Flexibility to work weekends and our Friday and Saturday evening services.
A positive attitude, initiative and a strong work ethic.
