Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping and data management. Prior experience with recognised accounting software and systems is preferred but not neccesary.

Duties

Assist with accounts payable processes, including processing invoices and reconciling payments using Sage accounting software.
Maintain organised records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with general administrative tasks related to finance operations as required

Requirements

Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting systems is advantageous
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of accounts payable procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
