Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products and kits accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in mechanical work to develop their skills within a dynamic environment and potential progression into a quality function.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and kits according to technical specifications and work instructions
Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks with precision
Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify defects or issues
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times during operations
Assist in the packing and preparation of finished goods for shipment as required
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Qualifications

Proven experience in assembly, ideally within a warehouse or manufacturing setting
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly processes
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
