About Us

At Recycling, Plant & Machinery Ltd (RPM), we specialise in the sale, hire, dismantling, and marketing of recycling and waste processing equipment across the UK and worldwide. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive Sales & Marketing Administrator to join our team.

This is a varied role combining administration, marketing, customer service, and supplier coordination within a fast-paced industry.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Administrator to support our sales and marketing teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, maintaining customer relationships, and assisting with sales processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong computer literacy and organisational skills to contribute to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities

Manage sales administration tasks, including processing orders and updating customer records using CRM software.
Support marketing initiatives by preparing presentations, reports, and promotional materials using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
Maintain accurate data entry and organise files efficiently within Microsoft Excel and other organisational tools.
Assist in coordinating sales meetings, events, and campaigns, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client enquiries via email and phone.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Check supplier invoices and upload documentation to cloud systems
Process and manage creditor information for Sage submission
Review sales costs and profit margins for accuracy
Produce and update purchase orders when required
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Good IT skills with a solid understanding of computer literacy principles.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated time management skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
Previous experience in customer service is desirable but not essential. This position is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to develop their career within sales and marketing support functions while utilising their organisational expertise in a dynamic environment.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
