The Role
As Events & Sales Executive, you’ll oversee event delivery and drive sales growth across weddings and corporate events. Reporting to the Senior Event and Sales Executive and working closely with the office team, you’ll manage client relationships, logistics, and ensure exceptional experiences. The role demands initiative, organisation, and a proactive, service-driven approach.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales
- Deliver outstanding service aligned with Larchfield Estate’s values.
- Sell venue and accommodation services (weddings & corporates) via email, phone, and in person.
- Maintain a minimum 25% wedding conversion rate (35% historically achievable).
- Follow up on leads, upsell post-booking, and gather feedback from lost sales.
Event Coordination & Supplier Management
- Coordinate events from enquiry to completion, ensuring smooth, high-quality delivery.
- Brief suppliers and internal teams, maintaining clear communication.
- Liaise with the estate team on maintenance, setup, and feedback.
- Guide couples through the planning process with professionalism and care.
Administration & Compliance
- Keep all client and event information accurate and up to date.
- Manage invoicing and payments in line with contracts.
- Oversee Health & Safety, Fire, Electrical, Alcohol, and Entertainment licensing compliance.
Marketing & Business Development
- Collaborate with the social media freelancer and internal team to support marketing strategy and provide sales insights.
- Capture and organise photo/video content across accommodation, events, and the estate for social media use; contribute creative ideas for content calendars.
- Engage daily on social media (messages, comments, stories) alongside the freelance team.
- Recommend website updates to enhance visibility and sales.
- Update testimonials and survey data for marketing use.
- Plan and manage open days, in-house experiences, and charity events, proposing new concepts annually.
- Track wedding award submissions and coordinate entries with Sarah.
- Represent the company at relevant events and participate in training and development.
Team & Operations Support
- Work closely with events and accommodation colleagues to ensure seamless coordination.
- Respond promptly to client enquiries and aim for viewing wait times under 10 days.
- Ensure high-quality event delivery, accurate billing, and adherence to safety, licensing, and insurance requirements.
- Liaise with duty managers regarding issues or incident reports and follow up as needed.
- Conduct monthly emergency lighting checks and support operational upkeep.
- Contribute ideas to grow wedding, corporate, and private event business.
- Carry out any reasonable task requested by management.

- Full UK driving licence and access to personal transport (due to location).
Hours of Work
Full-time (40 hours per week). Flexibility required to work weekends, public holidays, and occasional evenings.
