We are now looking to add massage therapist as part of our wider service offering, helping our patients and clients benefit from hands-on care, recovery support, soft tissue treatment, relaxation, injury prevention and improved wellbeing.

About the Role
We are looking for a Massage Therapist who can provide high-quality massage therapy within our clinic, working both independently and as part of our wider team.
The successful candidate will deliver massage treatments to clients who may be attending for sports massage, deep tissue massage, soft tissue therapy, muscle tension, stress-related tightness, general aches and pains, recovery support or maintenance care.
You will be working from a professional clinical environment with access to an existing client base, marketing support, clinic reputation, and opportunities for referrals from our physiotherapy and Pilates services.
This role would suit someone who is confident, caring, reliable and keen to build a strong client list within an established private healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
As a Massage Therapist at Gav Noble Physiotherapy, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing professional massage therapy treatments to clients
- Delivering sports massage, deep tissue massage, soft tissue therapy and general therapeutic massage
- Assessing each client’s needs before treatment and adapting treatment appropriately
- Helping clients with muscle tightness, stiffness, stress, tension and recovery from activity
- Supporting clients who may be receiving physiotherapy or rehabilitation within the clinic
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients
- Maintaining accurate treatment notes where required
- Providing appropriate aftercare advice following massage treatment
- Working closely with physiotherapists and other team members when needed
- Helping create a positive and welcoming client experience
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and professionalism
- Managing appointments professionally and punctually
- Supporting the promotion and development of massage therapy within the clinic
- Representing Gav Noble Physiotherapy in a professional and positive manner at all times

Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A recognised qualification in massage therapy, sports massage or soft tissue therapy
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Good knowledge of anatomy, soft tissue techniques and safe practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and caring approach to client care
- The ability to work independently and responsibly
- A commitment to maintaining high clinical and hygiene standards
Desirable Skills and Experience
The following would be an advantage but are not essential:
- Experience working in a physiotherapy, sports injury or private healthcare setting
- Experience treating active adults, sports people or people aged 35+
- Knowledge of injury recovery, rehabilitation or exercise-based care
- Experience with deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy or myofascial techniques
- An interest in Pilates, mobility, strength, posture or injury prevention
- Confidence helping promote services through social media or short educational content
- Experience building and retaining a regular client base

At Gav Noble Physiotherapy, you will not be starting from scratch in a cold room hoping someone books. You will be joining a clinic with a reputation, a client base and a team that already helps people every day.
Type of Work
This role may be offered on a self-employed, part-time or sessional basis, depending on the right candidate and agreed arrangement.
We are open to discussing a flexible working pattern, which may include daytime, evening or weekend availability depending on demand.
Possible working arrangements may include:
- Part-time clinic sessions
- Evening massage appointments
- Half-day or full-day room use
- A self-employed percentage split
- A trial period followed by review
