Job description

Under the direction of the Staff Member in charge the post holder will assist other staff with the provision of care and practice to meet the needs of residents ensuring that all policies and procedures in operation are implemented and that the highest standards are achieved and maintained.

Job Duties include but are not limited to assisting residents with:-

Washing, Dressing, Shaving, Mouth care, Showering, Bathing, Hoisting, Repositioning, Feeding, Toileting, Answering buzzers, documenting of all necessary practices and kitchen, domestic and laundry duties as required.

Previous Experience required. NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

It is a pre-requisite of this post that you are competent in verbal and written English. If English is not your first language then you may be required to sit an English test prior to any possible interview.

We pay £13.50 per hour
