Full job description

Base Location: Aldershot

Salary: £30,684 - £36,666 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Onsite

Our team is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Utility Groundworker / Cable Layer to join our Cabling team across the South East.

This is a hands-on role offering a variety of projects, the chance to work outdoors, and the opportunity to play a key part in delivering essential utility infrastructure.

You will be:

Working on a range of cabling and utility projects, ensuring work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
Assisting with site set-up and ensuring compliance with Street Works legislation.
Carrying out excavations for fault repairs and minor connection projects.
Undertaking cable and pipe laying activities, alongside other operational tasks as required.
Participating in a standby rota, responding to faults during evenings and weekends when required.

You have

A positive, hands-on attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.
Experience in a similar utility, civils, groundworks or cable laying environment.
NRSWA Street Works accreditation.
A full UK driving licence.
Small plant tickets (excavator, dumper, etc.) are desirable
