The Opportunity

We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Call Handler to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop their customer service and administration skills in a professional office environment. Full training will be provided, so previous claims experience isn't required.

You'll be the first point of contact for many customers, helping them navigate claims and insurance-related enquiries with confidence, empathy and professionalism.

What You'll Be Doing

Answering inbound customer calls and providing excellent service
Assisting customers with setting up travel and personal accident claims
Supporting customers with enquiries relating to wedding and income protection policies
Scanning and distributing incoming post
Updating and maintaining customer records on our claims management system
Ensuring customer information is handled accurately and confidentially
Working towards high customer satisfaction standards
Supporting the wider management and claims teams as required
Contributing positively to a collaborative team environment

Experience & Qualifications

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Strong communication skills
Basic IT literacy and willingness to learn new systems

Desirable

Previous customer service, call centre or office administration experience
Experience handling customer enquiries by phone
Four GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications)
