Full job description

** In order to apply for this position you need to have at least 3 years experience as a motorcycle technician.

Some sales experience would be an advantage.

We are also open to take on apprentices as well

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable motorcycle technician, but also help in the shop with sales, delivering bikes, building bikes/PDI, general running of the shop, job cards etc

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs carried out.
Assist with installation of new equipment and systems as required.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience or strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their technical expertise within a supportive team environment. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair compensation for your skills and efforts.

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Clacton-on-Sea, Essex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN: 3 years (preferred)
MOTORCYCLE SALES: 1 year (preferred)

English (required)

Licence/Certification:

FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE CAT A AND B (required)
