Full job description

Are you passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences? The Langham Hotel is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist to become a valued member of our Front Office team.

Please note: Applicants must have previous hotel front desk experience (up to 2 years). We can only consider candidates who have worked in this specific role within a hotel environment.

As a key part of our guests’ journey, you will work closely with our Front Office Manager to deliver the warm, thoughtful, and exceptional service the Langham brand is known for.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is enthusiastic about delivering customer service excellence, with strong communication skills and a professional, polished approach to administration.

Experience with any of the following systems is beneficial (but not essential, as full training will be provided):
Guestline, Newbridge, ResDiary, MS Office, Canva, and general computer literacy.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Offering every guest a warm welcome, attentive service throughout their stay, and a heartfelt farewell.
Answering telephone calls confidently and professionally, while communicating effectively with guests and internal departments.
Managing telephone and online reservations and inputting them accurately into the PMS.
Working with OTA extranets and channel managers.
Demonstrating flexibility when responding to a wide range of guest and internal requests.
Handling daily arrivals and departures, including groups.
Responding to guest emails and messages promptly and courteously.
Producing daily communication and operational reports.
Carrying out daily shift procedures, including banking duties.
Following all Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures.
