The Role
The Service Support Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business at a key stage in its development. This role would suit someone with a strong interest in mental health and psychological services, whether you are a psychology graduate, a career-changer, or someone with relevant operational or healthcare experience.

You will play a central role in the day-to-day delivery of our psychological treatment services, supporting referral management, coordinating our network of independent clinicians, and contributing to the smooth running and ongoing development of our operational processes. Working closely with the Service Support Team Leader and Operations Managers, you will have a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a values-led organisation.

Purpose of the Role
To support the effective and efficient operational delivery of psychological treatment services through robust referral management and proactive coordination of Mind Right’s clinician network, ensuring services that:

Delight our customers
Meet the clinical needs of clients
Support Mind Right’s commercial and strategic objectives

There will also be opportunities to support other areas of the business and to grow and develop your role as Mind Right continues to expand.

Reporting Line
Reports to: Service Support Team Leader

Key Accountabilities

Manage inbound referrals, allocating them to appropriate clinicians within our network, while remaining attentive to customer requirements and service level expectations.
Review clinical information with a high level of attention to detail, identifying risks or complexities and escalating to Clinical Leads where appropriate.
Work collaboratively with Operations Managers to develop, refine, and embed operational processes that support Mind Right’s ambition to be a market leader in UK psychological services.
Support the ongoing review and improvement of operational processes and procedures, including workforce mix (independent and salaried clinicians) and the effective use of technology, to help reduce operational transaction costs.
Investigate complaints or service failures promptly and thoroughly, implementing appropriate remedial actions and reporting outcomes to the management team.

Person Specification

Essential

Demonstrable interest in mental health, psychological treatment, or healthcare service delivery.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with sensitive and confidential information.
Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

Desirable

Degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
Experience working in a healthcare, mental health, insurance, or case management environment.
Understanding of clinical pathways or psychological treatment models.
Experience coordinating clinicians, suppliers, or professional networks.
Confidence using digital systems and an interest in how technology can enhance service delivery.
