Global Offshore Execution is responsible for delivering site management and supervisory resources across pre-installation, installation, and commissioning phases. The department plays a critical role in developing skilled teams and individuals to meet both current and future business needs.
The manager will lead a team of approximately 15–20 Commissioning Lead Site Managers. These individuals serve as the responsible site managers onboard Service Operation Vessels (SOVs), overseeing and coordinating commissioning activities across offshore construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams and individuals, ensuring alignment with Vestas’ culture and strategic objectives
- Oversee hiring and retention while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and high performance
- Create a positive work environment with a focus on employee well-being and work–life balance
- Hold budget responsibility and ensure effective allocation of resources
- Support projects and key stakeholders by providing capable and well-trained resources
- Ensure operational readiness by maintaining a workforce to meet business demands
- Manage the overall direction of Offshore Execution and I&C Management, including continuous improvement initiatives and processes
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a leadership role within the wind industry
- Experience leading remotely, including managing leaders and teams effectively
- Solid knowledge of Health, Safety, and Quality (HSQ) standards
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- In-depth understanding of operational processes
- Proficient in IT systems, including MS Office and SAP
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
